Last week, Samsung launched a new Galaxy A series smartphone, the Galaxy A27. Back then, the brand announced the phone's pricing and availability for Europe and the US. On the same day, a leak about the device shed light on its price for India. However, the company hadn't launched the model in the country. It meant that the phone's pricing for the region wasn't official, and its availability was still under wraps. That's changing today.
Samsung has launched the Galaxy A27 in India and announced its price and availability details for the country. The tech giant is offering the phone in three RAM and storage configurations: 6GB RAM +128GB storage, 8GB RAM +128GB storage, and 8GB RAM +256GB storage. The brand has priced them at INR 31,999, INR 34,999, and INR 40,499, respectively. It is offering INR 3,000 cashback for payments made using UPI and bank accounts.
That means the Galaxy A27's effective net price for 6GB+128GB, 8GB+128GB, and 8GB+256GB variants will be INR 28,999, INR 31,999, and INR 37,499, respectively. The company says that it will make the phone available for purchase on July 3, 2026. The tech giant will be offering it in three colors: Black, Light Green, and Light Pink. People will be able to buy it from Samsung's website, the Samsung Shop app, and the brand's authorised offline and online stores across the country.
The Galaxy A27 features a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection. It features Qualcomm's Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor. The brand is shipping it with One UI 8.5 (Android 16 QPR2) and has promised to offer it six major OS upgrades and security updates for six years. The phone has three cameras at the rear: a 50MP unit with a wide lens, OIS, and PDAF, a 5MP unit with an ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP unit with a macro lens. At the front, there's a 12MP camera.
The Galaxy A27 packs a 5,000mAh battery and supports wired charging at up to 25W. Its connectivity options include dual-SIM 5G, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, and a USB Type-C port. The phone has a microSD card slot supporting cards up to 2TB. The device is dust- and water-resistant and comes with an IP64 rating. It measures 162.4 x 78.2 x 7.8mm and weighs 200 grams
