Last month, we learned that Samsung is developing the Galaxy A16, successor to the Galaxy A15 that the company launched last year. The phone’s battery then appeared on the BIS. It confirmed the device's existence and suggested that the brand could launch it in India, which wasn’t a surprise as Samsung launched almost all Galaxy A-series phones in the country. Then we got to know the key specifications of the device.
Now, we have spotted the listing of the Galaxy A16 on EE’s website, which is one of the largest network carriers in the United Kingdom.
As you can see in the image below, the listing confirms the existence of the smartphone, confirms the Galaxy A16 moniker, and reveals eight variants of the upcoming phone. These have model numbers SM-A1660, SM-A166B, SM-A166E, SM-A166M, SM-A166P, SM-A166U, SM-A165F, and SM-A165F DSB.
The model numbers that have ‘6’ before the last letter or number are variants of the Galaxy A16 5G and the ones that have ‘5’ are variants of the Galaxy A16 (4G or LTE). As you can see, the Galaxy A16 will be available in 4G and 5G connectivity variants. The model numbers SM-A166B, SM-A166E, SM-A166F, and SM-A166U confirm that Samsung will launch the Galaxy A16 in the US, Europe, and other countries.
The ‘DUOS’ in the name suggests that the Galaxy A16 will accommodate two SIM cards. A previous leak reveals that the phone will have three cameras at the rear, a 50MP primary camera, a 5MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP macro camera. At the front, there will be a 13MP camera for selfies. Just like the Galaxy A15, the upcoming model will have a 5,000mAh battery with 25W charging.

Considering that EE has listed the Galaxy A16, it looks like Samsung could launch the phone very soon. Unfortunately, we don't have a date yet. Hopefully, we will get those details soon.
