Samsung is going to launch its next set of smartphones with foldable displays, and smartwatches, which will most likely include the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Galaxy Z Flip 7, Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE, Galaxy Watch 8, and the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic, at the Galaxy Unpacked event on 9 July 2025.
The brand also started taking pre-reservations for these devices a few days ago in many countries. One of them was India, where you have to pay INR 1,999 for the VIP Pass, which will get you benefits worth INR 5,999. However, its exact details were unknown. Well, not anymore.
On BlueSky, Roland Quandt has posted a link to a document on Samsung’s server, which contains all the details related to pre-reservation of the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Galaxy Z Flip 7, Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE, Galaxy Watch 8, and the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic.
According to it, people with the VIP Pass will get E-Voucher of INR 5,999 with the purchase of the Galaxy Z Fold 7, E-Voucher of INR 3,999 with the purchase of the Galaxy Z Flip 7, E-Voucher of INR 3,999 with the purchase of the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE, E-Voucher of INR 5,999 with the purchase of the Galaxy Watch 8, and E-Voucher worth INR 4,999 with the purchase of the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic, as you can see in the image below. They can then redeem that voucher on Samsung’s official website or on the Samsung Shop app for purchasing other Samsung products.
The E-Voucher can only be redeemed on devices of equal or higher value than the E-Voucher. The document contains the list of products on which you can redeem the E-Voucher. One can also cancel the pre-reservation (VIP Pass) and they will get a full refund. If someone goes ahead with the purchase, redeems the E-Voucher, and then cancels either one or both products, Samsung will charge a cancellation fee of INR 99 if those products were mobile accessories and wearables, and INR 999 if those products were smartphones, tablets, and laptops.
