Samsung showcases its efforts to achieve Global Goals at Cannes Lions 2022

Sustainable development is the need of the hour to ensure countries grow, despite changing climatic conditions. It will also help us protect natural resources for not only us but our future generations as well. In line with this, every year, various brands and market leaders come together at the Cannes Lions event to bolster creativity and help create a sustainable future.

This year, Samsung Electronics and young leaders from Generation17 attended the Cannes Lions 2022 event to bring attention to how brands can help create a more sustainable future. They amplify the voices and stories of young leaders to meet the Global Goals by 2030. Since only eight years are left till the Global Goals deadline, Samsung has decided to accelerate its efforts using technology and creativity with the help of young leaders like Kristian Kampmann (Denmark), Nadine Khaouli (Lebanon), and Tafara Makaza (Zimbabwe) to make an impact before it is too late.

Samsung hosted a panel discussion in partnership with Project EveryoneKarmarama, and discussed how Samsung is empowering young people by providing access to the latest technology, so their voices can be heard. Moreover, the company has been actively participating in this sustainable future cause via Generation17 and the Samsung Global Goals App.

To raise awareness about Global Goals, Samsung also hosted the Samsung Global Goals Photobooth at Cannes Lions. It provided an interactive experience for the attendees to take fun photos and also learn more about the Global Goals and the Samsung Global Goals app.
