There was always the expectation that the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, which is the successor to last year's Galaxy Z Fold 7, would be increased.
As feared, Samsung has met those expectations. The company has confirmed the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra price today at it starts at $2,099.
Customers in the United States will be able to purchase the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage for $2,099. The 12GB + 512GB and 16TB + 1TB variants cost $2,299 and $2,699 respectively.
Pricing in Europe comes in at €2,199 for the 12GB + 256GB, €2,399 for the 12GB + 512GB and €2,799 for the 16GB + 1TB models. The Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra price will vary slightly based on your market but in any case, you can expect it to be higher than its predecessor.
You do get a lot of phone for this price. The Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra is equipped with an 8-inch QXGA+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X foldable display, a 6.5-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X cover display, and a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy chipset.
There's a triple camera setup at the back with a 200-megapixel wide, 50-megapixel ultra-wide, and 10-megapixel telephoto sensor with 3x optical zoom. The handset also has a 5,000mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging.
Samsung is offering the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra in Graphite, Cream, and Violet Shadow colors. Green Shadow is available as an online-exclusive from Samsung.com. Pre-orders are open today with the release set for August 7, 2026.
