The Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 support 25W fast charging. That’s the same as the Fold 5 and Flip 5. As usual, you will need to buy the charger separately. The box only includes a 3A USB cable, along with a SIM ejection pin and quick start guide.
With the 25W charger and 3A USB cable, the two foldables can charge up to 50% in 30 minutes. That figure is for when the devices have 0% battery left and are connected to the charger when they’re turned off. Charging will naturally be slower if the phones are being used at the same time.
The Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Fold 6 also support wireless charging and reverse wireless charging (which Samsung calls Wireless PowerShare). Those haven’t been upgraded either. Wireless charging maxes out at 15W, while reverse wireless charging happens at 4.5W.
As for battery capacity, it has only been increased on the Galaxy Z Flip 6. The new Flip boasts a 4,000 mAh battery. That's a 300 mAh bump from the previous two models and matches the Galaxy S24's battery capacity. The battery also stays cooler thanks to a vapor chamber cooling system on the new model.
The Galaxy Z Fold 6 uses the same 4,400 mAh battery as the Z Fold 3, Z Fold 4, and Z Fold 5. The more efficient Snapdragon chip under its hood should enable some battery life gains, but they won't be as notable as the gains on the Z Flip 6.
The Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 are available for pre-order and will go on sale worldwide on July 24. Hit the link below to order one and take advantage of exciting offers.
