In the coming weeks, with Samsung's next Galaxy Unpacked event fast approaching, we are going to see a lot of leaks showing us the company's upcoming products in advance. Recently, renders showing us Samsung's upcoming smartwatches hit the internet, and a couple more have now made their way online courtesy of Evan Blass.
This leak includes front-facing renders of the Galaxy Watch 8, Galaxy Watch 8 Classic, and a new Galaxy Watch Ultra variant which may or may not launch as the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2. The most notable thing in all the renders is that the squircle shape—squarish chassis, round display—introduced with the Galaxy Watch Ultra is now the standard design across all models.
The Galaxy Watch 8 lineup is also bringing back the Classic model with a physical rotating bezel. Like the Galaxy Watch Ultra, the Watch 8 Classic has three buttons on the side, with a round Quick/Action button for quickly launching apps, exercises, and other tasks sandwiched between the home/power and back keys.
Speaking of exercises, these smartwatches will come with some new health and fitness tracking tricks, including the ability to measure your carotenoid levels, offer motivation and guidance when running, and new ways to help you sleep better. All three watches will run One UI 8 Watch out of the box, and these features will also be available for the Galaxy Watch 5 series and up through the One UI 8 Watch beta program later this month.
