Galaxy S25 FE gains AI feature set from Samsung’s best phones

The Galaxy S25 FE, which was announced today, features a faster processor, a bigger battery, faster charging, and longer software support than its predecessor. It also gets access to basically all the AI features that are available on the Galaxy S25 Ultra, and here's the complete list of those AI-powered features.

Samsung's Galaxy S25 FE is powered by the Exynos 2400 chip, which debuted last year with the Galaxy S24 series. The powerful NPU inside the chip supports all the Galaxy AI features Samsung currently offers on its latest high-end phones. The phone runs Android 16 and One UI 8.0. In addition to the listed Galaxy AI features, the phone also includes Gemini and Gemini Live.

Audio Eraser: Remove unwanted sounds and background noise from your videos. This feature can identify and isolate six different types of audio sources: Crowd, Music, Nature, Noise, Voices, and Wind.

Auto Trim: It can instantly select best moments from your video to make video editing faster and more streamlined.

Browsing Assist: Translate webpages into your preferred language and summarize articles.

Call Assist: Get real-time language translation during calls.

Drawing Assist: Transform rough sketches and drawings into professional-looking art.

Generative Edit: Edit images with the power of Generative AI. You can remote unwanted objects or people from an image, add your own imagination to existing images, rotate images for a preferred angle, or resize objects or people in the image.

Google Circle To Search: Circle anything on the screen and get matching results instantly.

Google Gemini and Gemini Live: Share your phone's camera or screen and get live information and help from Gemini's latest AI models. You can ask contextual questions, translate a language, plan your next trip, get help in identifying things, and even ask it to choose an outfit if you are confused between multiple options.

Instant Slow-mo: Slow down movements in a video by just long pressing the part in the video that you want to slow down. It uses Generative AI to create more frames to make the video slower without affecting its smoothness.

Interpreter: Live translation of languages when you are speaking to people face to face.

Now Brief: It displays personalized daily updates that are relevant to you at that time of the day. Updates could include calendar entries, travel tickets and boarding passes, reminders , music playlists , health insights, mindfulness, Sleep Score, Energy Score, suggested news articles, and coupon expiration reminders.

Note Assist: It can automatically format and summarize notes. It can also transcribe and translate text, decorate notes with AI-generated covers and images, and offer spell-check and language flow suggestions for your notes in Samsung Notes.

Portrait Studio: Create personalized avatars using true-to-life facial expressions. This feature also uses Generative AI.

Transcript Assist: It can transcribe voice and call recordings into text. It can also summarize that transcribed text.

Writing Assist: Get grammar corrections and language flow suggestions while writing emails, messages, notes, and posts.

Since Samsung has promised to offer seven generations of Android OS updates to the Galaxy S25 FE, it could get even more AI features in the future with software updates.
