Samsung has now started rolling out the Galaxy M51 Android 12 update. Russia is the first market to receive this latest firmware. It bears version number M515FXXU4DVD1 and will soon be available in more markets across the globe.
Galaxy M51 owners should keep in mind that this is the latest Android OS upgrade for the device. It launched with Android 10 out of the box back in 2020. Since it’s only meant to receive two major updates, it’s not on the list of Samsung devices eligible for Android 13.
It will continue to receive security updates for another year before software support is ultimately dropped for the handset. By then, it will surely be time to upgrade and pick one of the many great cheap Android phones Samsung has to offer.
