Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro might have competition from Google soon

Prominent tipster and YouTuber John Prosser took to Twitter to share some information about the possible launch of the Google Pixel Buds Pro. Yes, you read it right. The tweet from Prosser also highlights that Google could release the Pixel Buds Pro in multiple colors, including Real Red, Carbon, Limoncello, and Fog.

We would advise you to take this piece of information with a pinch of salt, as we haven’t heard anything about this Google hardware. However, there are chances that this Google Pixel Buds Pro could make a debut since Google owns a 3D-audio company, Dysonics, and has been working on spatial audio and head tracking support in Android 13.

Google Pixel Buds Pro could challenge Samsung’s wireless earbuds

If this turns into reality, then this would be Google’s first entry into the “Pro” TWS category and would go up against the Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro and Apple AirPods Pro, given that the “pro” suffix attached to the Google Pixel Buds would bring some actual pro-grade features.

That said, the Pixel Buds Pro will assumably offer active noise cancellation (ANC) to give Apple’s and Samsung’s PRO TWS a run for their money. But that is not even half of what Google might need to bring to its Pixel Buds Pro to be a worthy challenger to the products from Samsung or Apple. It will depend on a few more factors, including price, battery life, and features.

Apart from the name and the colors, there aren’t many details on offer by John, other than that the Pixel Buds Pro are “coming soon”.

Galaxy S23 flagship makes it to the ARCore support list along with other models

Samsung had to wait quite a while for this, but finally, the Galaxy S23 series and a few other flagships have been welcomed into the ARCore support list. We don’t blame the Korean tech brand, however. After all, the list often lags far behind when it comes to inducting newly launched devices. So it’s not […]
