The Galaxy Buds 2 would usually set you back $149, but thanks to this new deal, you can acquire the earbuds for $99. This is the lowest they've ever been, and you probably won't get a better deal than this anytime soon — or by the time the Buds 2 will be retired from the market.
There is, however, one caveat. Namely, the $99 discounted price applies only to the Galaxy Buds 2 in Phantom Black. The other color options, including graphite, olive, lavender, and white, cost $109. Functionality-wise, they're all the same, so you won't lose out on any features if you pick the cheaper $99 color option.
Wireless earbuds are becoming increasingly common as more and more smartphone models have abandoned the standard 3.5mm audio port. Samsung often bundles its wireless earbuds with its Galaxy smartphones as a pre-order bonus. Meanwhile, these occasional discounts are helping customers that may have missed out on those early adopter bonuses to catch up and upgrade to wireless technology.
The Galaxy Buds 2 were announced in September last year. They are the latest wireless earbuds from Samsung and offer great ANC (Active Noise Cancelling) technology, good sound quality with rich bass, and a comfortable fit. Want to learn more about its pros and cons? Check our review below.
