Samsung announces Galaxy Book 3 Ultra’s availability and pricing

During the Galaxy Unpacked 2023 event earlier this month, Samsung announced the Galaxy Book 3 Ultra alongside the Galaxy S23 series. While the Galaxy S23 series went on pre-order the same day, the company didn’t reveal the availability of the Galaxy Book 3 Ultra. Well, the Galaxy Book 3 Ultra is available in some markets for pre-order starting today.

Galaxy Book 3 Ultra pre-order, pricing, and availability

The Galaxy Book 3 Ultra can be pre-ordered starting today in France, Germany, South Korea, the UK, and the US. The high-end laptop will be available for purchase starting February 22, 2023. The laptop has two processor variants: Intel Core i7 and Intel Core i9. The version with the Intel Core i7 comes with the Nvidia GeForce RTX 4050 GPU, while the one with the Intel Core i9 CPU is paired with the Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 GPU.

The Core i7 variant of the laptop with 16GB RAM, 512GB storage, and the RTX 4050 GPU is priced at $1,899 in the US. The variant with the Core i9 CPU, 32GB RAM, and 512GB storage is priced at $2,499.

Samsung is currently offering free storage upgrades right now. So, if you spend $1,899, you can get the Galaxy Book 3 Ultra with an Intel Core i7 CPU, 16GB RAM, 1TB storage, and the RTX 4050 GPU. If you pay for the 512GB storage version of the laptop, you can get the 1TB version of the device at no additional cost.

Both versions of the laptop run Windows 11 Home out of the box. Samsung’s highest-end laptop has 16GB/32GB RAM, 512GB/1TB Storage, an HDMI port, two Thunderbolt 4 ports, a USB 3.2 Type-A port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a microSD card slot. The Galaxy Book 3 Ultra has a 16-inch 3K OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, a full-sized backlit keyboard, a large trackpad, a quad-speaker setup, and a Full HD webcam. It has a full aluminum unibody design and weighs 1.79kg.
