We still love the Galaxy A56; one of the best surprises of 2025.

The Galaxy A56 recently became the best mid-range phone for customers in the USA. The phone finally went on sale stateside after a few months of an orchestrated delay, and now, the A56 is the best trade-up option for A-series users.
New Galaxy A56 buyers in the USA can benefit from enhanced trade-in discounts, particularly when exchanging older A-series phones. The ongoing trade-in deals are so good that they don't drop below $100 for any of the accepted old A-series models.
Below is a full breakdown of all the discounts you can get on the Galaxy A56 when you trade up from an older Galaxy A phone, ranging from the oldest and cheapest to the newest (in no particular order).
The deal is simple. Samsung offers either $100 or $150 off when you exchange a Galaxy A phone for the new Galaxy A56.
Without a trade-in, Samsung USA sells the Galaxy A56 for $499 (128GB) and $549 (256GB).
At the moment, Samsung USA offers only one bundle deal for the Galaxy A56. Namely, you can buy the Galaxy Buds FE budget wireless earbuds for $59 instead of $99. There are no other bundle deals available for the Galaxy A56 at the moment, but others could be added down the road.
Whether you buy the Galaxy A56 with a trade-in discount or without one, you can pay for the device in one go or set up an installment plan. Your options are $20.84 a month for 24 months or one $125 installment every two weeks.
As for the Galaxy A56 itself, it's a fantastic mid-range phone and the first in the series to deliver on Samsung's promises of two-day battery life. It's also surprisingly smooth across the UI, thanks to the Exynos 1580 chip, and the build quality is almost premium-like. Check out our reviews below for details.
