Samsung has debuted a new feature called Samsung Education Hub for its smart monitors and TVs. It is an education app for students and was created in collaboration with the Indian online education firm Physics Wallah. This new feature will soon be available to all Samsung smart monitors and TVs released in 2023 and later.

The Samsung Education Hub feature aims to enhance the role of TVs in kids' education. Students can attend online classes on the big screen at home. Both live classes and on-demand education content will be available for students, and education content is available for students from Grade 6 to Grade 12 under the CBSE education board in India. Content will also be available for students preparing for the IIT and NEET entrance examinations. The content will be free for existing Physics Wallah users, while others can access it by subscribing to Physics Wallah directly from Samsung's smart monitors and TVs.

New users can watch premium live courses on Samsung Education Hub for free for two months. Students can also access ‘Physics Wallah Khazaana Content,' which features content from Physics Wallah's premium educators. Students in India with a qualifying Samsung smart monitor or smart TV can also avail of a discount of 20% on any premium live course of their choice. Samsung Education Hub will be released to older smart monitors and smart TVs from Samsung released in 2020 and later. However, it will be a phased rollout.

Dipesh Shah, Head of the India Consumer Experience Team at Samsung, said, “With the Samsung Education Hub app, we seek to expand the role of TV in households beyond mere entertainment and make online learning a seamless experience on the big screen. This ‘designed-for-TV' education app is set to revolutionize online learning, offering students from 6th to 12th grade and competitive examination aspirants a seamless and engaging educational experience. Through this initiative, we envision a future where learning knows no boundaries, and knowledge is accessible at the touch of a remote.
