CES 2023 is scheduled to start on January 5, 2023, and as usual, Samsung has announced that it will hold a press conference during the world's biggest electronics expo. The company has also hinted at what its focus will be during its Consumer Electronics Show 2023 announcements a day before the expo starts.

Samsung's official CES 2023 invitation has been revealed. The press conference will be held at the Mandalay Bay Ballroom in Las Vegas, USA, on January 4, 2023. It will start at 2 PM local time (5 PM EST) and end at 2:45 PM (5:45 PM EST). The press conference will be opened by JH Han, Vice Chairman and CEO of Samsung’s DX (Device eXperience) division. The company's theme for CES 2023 is ‘Bringing Calm to Our Connected World.’ It is likely about the improved connected home ecosystem. The event will be live-streamed on Samsung Newsroom and Samsung's YouTube channel.

The South Korean firm could announce various new TVs, home appliances, laptops, and smart home features during the event. The company had pledged to bring SmartThings compatibility to almost all of its home appliances for a better and more connected smart home. Three months ago, the company revealed various home appliances in the BESPOKE range with improved smart home features. It also announced Matter integration for SmartThings.

Over the past couple of months, Samsung brought Alexa and Google Home integration to SmartThings with the help of Matter's multi-admin feature. When a Matter-compatible smart home device is added to the Alexa, Google Home, or SmartThings app, it will automatically be displayed in the other two, given the user has accepted the terms of the integration. This makes controlling smart home devices easier.
