The Galaxy A23 5G is available in Malaysia starting today. Customers buying the 5G budget phone before October 31 get RM 300 ($65) off the retail price. The Galaxy A23 5G normally costs RM 1,399 ($300), but early buyers can acquire the phone for RM 1,099 ($236).
Samsung is offering the Galaxy A23 5G with one memory configuration featuring 8GB of RAM and 128GB of built-in storage. Customers can pick from three color options: black, light blue, and orange.
The phone has a microSD card slot capable of reading up to 1TB of external storage and is powered by the Snapdragon 695 chipset. The SoC drives a 6.6-inch PLS LCD FHD+ Infinity-V panel with a refresh rate of 120Hz.
The Infinity-V notch holds an 8MP camera. The primary camera system located on the back of the phone comprises four sensors: a 50MP wide shooter with OIS (optical image stabilization), a 5MP ultra-wide sensor, and 2MP depth and macro cameras.
All of the components rely on a 5,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging. The phone also has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and additional features such as Dolby Atmos, Bluetooth 5.1, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Direct, and Android 12.
