Every now and then, Samsung collaborates with iconic brands around the world to make cases for Galaxy smartphones that reflect the identity of those companies. It helps the South Korean tech giant attract more customers, give its users a chance to customise their phones with the identity of the brands they love, and enhance its cultural relevance. Well, Samsung has done it once again, and this time, with a Peruvian brand, Gloria.
Samsung has collaborated with Gloria, the most popular dairy brand in Peru, to make NFC-enabled cards with Gloria-inspired designs for the Galaxy Z Flip 7 Flipsuit Case. As you insert these cards in the bottom portion of the case, the phone will automatically load a wallpaper with a matching design on the FlexWindow and the main display, completing the look of the case. This is Samsung’s first partnership with a Peruvian brand.
Samsung has also made Gloria-inspired static and dynamic wallpapers for the Galaxy Z Flip 7 available on its official website. It enables you to customise your phone with the identity of a legendary Peruvian brand without buying a Flipsuit Case. We are assuming that Samsung will also sell Flipsuit Cases that come bundled with Gloria-inspired cards.
Samsung Peru’s IMC and PR Manager, Mauricio Revollar, said, “At Samsung, we are constantly looking for new ways to connect innovation with people’s lifestyles, and this collaboration with Gloria allows us to reinterpret design from a local perspective, integrating technology, iconicity, and creativity into a proposal with a lot of personality.”
