According to the latest report from market research firm FutureSource Consulting, Samsung topped the soundbar market with an 18.4% market share in sales volume and a 20.2% revenue share. This proves that Samsung sells more units of higher-priced soundbars than some other rival brands. The market research report also shows that the soundbar market has been growing steadily year-over-year, with a growth rate of 5.7% over the past three years. Around 23.2 million soundbars were sold globally, and around 4.2 million units were sold by Samsung. The market is expected to reach sales of 26 million units by 2025.
Samsung's HW-Q990C, which was launched earlier this year, its most high-end soundbar for 2023, has managed to impress experts and enthusiasts. It has an 11.1.4-channel speaker setup with Wireless Dolby Atmos, Q-Symphony 3.0, Space Fit Sound Pro, and Game Mode Pro. It also features AirPlay 2, Google Cast, Tap Sound, and SmartThings.
Cheolgi Kim, EVP of Visual Display Business at Samsung Electronics, said, “Samsung is committed to providing our customers with an industry-leading home entertainment experience that meets the evolving needs of our customers. Samsung soundbars are the perfect immersive match for Samsung TVs, exemplifying the pinnacle of cinematic sound with smart audio features and enhanced connectivity.“
