After unveiling its new lineup of Bespoke home appliances at CES 2023, Samsung has announced the launch of its new Bespoke refrigerators in India. The company’s top-of-the-line refrigerators are made locally in India and come with several India-specific features based on consumer insights.

Samsung’s 2023 lineup of Bespoke refrigerators features Wi-Fi connectivity and SmartThings. They can be controlled using the SmartThings app on Android, iOS, and Windows devices, offering higher power efficiency through the AI Energy Saving mode. It is in line with Samsung’s ‘Powering Digital India’ vision. They all feature a 5-in-1 mode for customizable storage, Twin Cooling+ for faster cooling, and Curd Maestro to prepare curd easily. The curd-making compartment can now be detached when it’s not in use.

The lineup has a 4.5L water tank to offer ice and cold water from its dispenser. It doesn’t even need to be connected to a water supply. The Auto Open Door feature, which is present in all refrigerators in the 2023 Bespoke lineup, opens the door when you place your hand on the sensor.

Samsung’s 2023 Bespoke refrigerator lineup starts at INR 113,000 in India

The pricing of the Bespoke refrigerator lineup starts at INR 113,000 (around $1,390) and comes in 653L capacity. It comes in four BESPOKE Glass Finish options: Clean Navy, Clean Pink, Clean White, and Glam Deep Charcoal. It is India’s first star-rated refrigerator lineup that comes with a 20-year warranty on the compressor. The new lineup is available through all authorized offline and online stores in India.

The top-of-the-line Family Hub variant of the Bespoke Side-By-Side Refrigerator features Family Hub 7.0. It has a 27-inch touchscreen display with Full HD resolution that can show what’s inside the refrigerator without opening its door. Contents inside can also be viewed through the SmartThings app. The screen can be used to browse the web, see family photos, stream music, watch videos, and control smart home devices.
