At CES 2023 earlier this year, Samsung unveiled a new version of its Bespoke Family Hub refrigerator with an upgraded screen. Today, the Bespoke 4-Door Flex Refrigerator With Family Hub+ is available for pre-order in the US. This is the eighth generation of the company's Family Hub refrigerator.

The Bespoke 4-Door Flex Refrigerator With Family Hub+ has a 32-inch Full HD touchscreen that runs Android, which means it can run various apps, including Amazon Prime Video, Google Photos, Instacart, Samsung TV Plus, and Spotify. It has a full-fledged web browser that you can use to access many other web services. You can access Calendar, Memos, and SmartThings on that giant display. It features a picture-in-picture mode so you can multitask while watching videos.

It is also the company's first refrigerator that has a built-in Matter controller. Previous generation Family Hub refrigerators will get Matter compatibility with a software update in July. As Google and Samsung announced a partnership to integrate Google Home and SmartThings, you will also be able to access and control Google Home, Matter, and SmartThings-compatible smart home products from the refrigerator's screen.

It features Bixby, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, screen mirroring, a microphone, and loudspeakers. Other features include AutoFill Pitcher Center, Beverage Center, Dual Auto Ice Maker, Flex Zone, Internal Water Dispenser, SmartThings Energy, and an internal camera. The camera can be used to check what's inside the refrigerator using the SmartThings app or directly from the screen on the refrigerator. AI can detect what's inside the refrigerator and suggest recipes based on that information.

Priced at $5,000 in the US, the new refrigerator can now be pre-ordered for $3,999 for the full-depth version and $4,099 for the counter-depth version. Samsung is offering a 3-year Care+ after-sales service plan for just $1 when you pre-order the Bespoke 4-Door Flex Refrigerator With Family Hub+ from its website.

While ordering the refrigerator, you can customize the color of the panels. The pre-order ends on June 6, 2023, and general sales and availability will start on June 7, 2023.
