Samsung has started rolling out a new update to the company’s AR Emoji app. It bumps the app’s version to 8.1.00.5, and according to the changelog, it brings only one change, and that is it improves the Samsung Cloud Sync feature.
AR Emoji is an app that is required to run the AR Emoji Camera and AR Emoji Studio apps, which let you create and edit AR emojis. Whenever you create or edit emojis using those apps, those emojis get synced with Samsung Cloud so that you can use them across various Samsung devices. The latest update to the AR Emoji app seems to enhance the functionality of emojis getting synced to the cloud. However, there’s no information about what those improvements are.
To get the latest update, go to Samsung Store > Menu > Updates and click on the update icon beside the listing of the update. We can confirm that Samsung has made the update available in India. It should also be available in other regions.
