A couple of days ago, we reported that Samsung could soon launch the Galaxy M55s, a rebranded variant of the Galaxy M55, as the company had made the support page of the smartphone live. Well, the South Korean tech giant has finally announced the launch date as well as key specifications of the Galaxy M55s.
On Amazon India, we have spotted a poster about the launch of the Galaxy M55s in India. According to it, Samsung will launch the Galaxy M55s in India on 23 September 2024. The poster also says ‘Amazon Specials,’ which means that it will sold exclusively through Amazon. Clicking on the poster takes us to a page dedicated to the device, which reveals most of its specifications and features.
According to it, the Galaxy M55s features a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The rear camera setup has three sensors: a 50MP primary camera with OIS, an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP macro camera. At the front, there is a 50MP camera. The phone will come in two colors: Thunder Black and Coral Green.
Samsung hasn’t revealed details about the phone’s processor, RAM, storage, battery capacity, charging speed, and connectivity options. However, considering that it will be a rebranded variant of the Galaxy M55, expect it to feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1, up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, 5,000mAh battery, 45W charging speed, dual-SIM 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, USB Type-C port, and stereo speakers.
The story continues after the video…
The only difference between the two phones is that the Galaxy M55s has stripes on the back panel whereas, the Galaxy M55 doesn’t. Considering that both devices are identical, the upcoming device should cost the same as the model it is based on. It means that Samsung could launch it at a starting price of INR 26,999.
