The Samsung 980 Pro SSD lineup is now available at an all-time low price thanks to a new Amazon deal. The online retailer is dropping up to 22% off the 980 Pro price and prospective buyers can now purchase the 1TB model for under $200.

The 250GB variant is now offered for $79 as opposed to $89, while the 500GB variant has been discounted by 21% down to $117. The higher capacity 1TB and 2TB 980 Pro cost $179 and $349, respectively, down from $229 and $429.

A great choice for gamers and power users

The Samsung 980 Pro is one of the best — if not the best — PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD solution, boasting read speeds of up to 7,000MB/s. It has an M.2 form factor and it uses nickel coating as well as a cutting-edge thermal control algorithm to keep the controller’s temperature in check. This allows the SSD to maintain its high performance level without fluctuations during extended usage.

The 980 Pro SSD works hand-in-hand with the company’s advanced optimization tool known as Samsung Magician. It monitors the drive’s health, protects user data, and optimizes performance. All in all, the Samsung 980 Pro SSD is a great choice for power users and hardcore gamers alike.
