For years, Samsung stuck to 45W fast wired charging for its phones. Next year, the company is rumored to be finally bringing a fast charging upgrade for Galaxy phones, starting with the Galaxy S26 Ultra. A new charger has been spotted on the company's website, and it could be made for Samsung's upcoming Ultra phone.
A new Samsung charger was silently listed on the company's website. It is called the 60W Power Adapter and carries model number EP-T6010. It has a single USB Type-C port that offers a maximum power output of 60W and can go as low as 5mW to save power when it isn't actively used. It uses the USB PD 3.1 PPS standard, which is newer compared to USB PD 3.0 PPS standard that is used in Samsung's 45W fast charger.
It can vary its voltage from 5V to 20V, depending on the power a connected device needs, and has an amperage of 3A. You don't need a 5A cable to make the most of this new charger. It is likely designed for the Galaxy S26 Ultra.
This 60W charger can charge your wireless earbuds, smartphone, smartwatch, tablet, and even your laptop. However, if you want a charger that can charge multiple devices at once, you might want to have a look at Samsung's 65W charger that has two USB Type-C ports and a USB Type-A port.
