Samsung Display is showcasing the world’s first 4K 360Hz QD-OLED monitor panel at the ongoing Computex 2026. The panel is designed for PC gaming and aims to deliver an exceptional experience for esports enthusiasts through its ultra-high refresh rate and fast response times.
Samsung Display’s latest 32-inch QD-OLED panel features 4K resolution and a 360Hz variable refresh rate. It also uses the company’s Penta Tandem technology, which employs a five-layer blue OLED stack structure and the latest organic materials.
According to Samsung Display, this technology allows the panel to achieve higher brightness levels and deliver a more impactful HDR experience for both gaming and video content.
The company says it optimized the panel’s internal circuit design and current-driving systems to overcome the technical challenges associated with running a high-resolution display at such an ultra-high refresh rate.
Samsung Display also showcased a 34-inch QD-OLED monitor with QHD+ resolution and VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 certification.
In addition, the company demonstrated a QD-OLED monitor featuring a Vertical Stripe (V-Stripe) subpixel layout. Unlike the triangular subpixel arrangement commonly used in QD-OLED panels, the V-Stripe design places red, green, and blue subpixels side by side in a layout similar to LCD panels, resulting in improved text clarity.
