It has been nearly a year since Samsung announced its first 200MP camera sensor for mobile devices. However, only one phone has used that ultra-high-resolution camera sensor to date. Now, one more smartphone with Samsung's 200MP camera sensor has been teased.

Hong Kong-based smartphone brand Infinix has teased a new flagship smartphone, the Infinix Zero Ultra. It features a high-end design, featuring a curved OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 2.5D curved edges. It also features a 200MP camera sensor (most likely ISOCELL HP3) on the rear, featuring OIS and 4K video recording. There is also an 8MP telephoto camera and an 8MP ultrawide camera. On the front, it has a 32MP selfie camera.

Weirdly, the phone is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 920 chipset, which natively supports up to a 108MP camera sensor. So, unless Infinix has used a dedicated ISP to bring support for a 200MP camera sensor, we are not sure how the company would take advantage of the 200MP ISOCELL sensor.

The phone is powered by a 4,500mAh battery and supports up to a whopping 180W Thunder Charge fast charging technology. So, it should support full charge within 15 minutes. The smartphone is scheduled to launch on October 5, 2022. Samsung is also working on its first Galaxy phone with a 200MP camera, and it is the Galaxy S23 Ultra.
