Proper Galaxy S26 One UI 9 rollout has finally begun

Samsung has finally begun rolling out the stable One UI 9.0 (Android 17) update for the Galaxy S26 series outside of South Korea and the US. The update is currently available for beta testers in India and Europe, and could soon reach other countries.

The stable One UI 9.0 update is now available for the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, and the Galaxy S26 UItra in Europe and India. It comes with firmware version S94xBXXU4BZI6 and includes the September 2026 security patch. It is currently available for devices enrolled in the One UI 9.0 Beta Program but could release for all users soon.

This rollout could extend to October for some countries and regions.

If you have a Galaxy S26 series phone and live in any region mentioned above, you should check for the new update. You can do that by launching the Settings app on your phone, scrolling down and tapping on Software update, and then clicking the Check for updates button.

Make sure that your phone has at least 30% battery charge left before you start installing the update. As a precautionary measure, you should also back up all your important data and files before starting to install the new software.
