The debut of the stable version of the new Android skin is less than a month away.

It hasn’t even been a week since Samsung made the Galaxy A27 (review) available to purchase, and the brand seems to have already started working on releasing its latest Android skin for its smartphones, One UI 9.0 (Android 17), for the phone.
On Samsung’s server, a newer firmware file for the Galaxy A27 than the one it is currently running, carrying version A276BXXU2BZG4, has been spotted (via Tarun Vats).
Going by the brand’s versioning convention for Galaxy smartphones’ firmware files, it seems to have a newer version of One UI than the one currently available for the Galaxy A27. Considering that the phone is running One UI 8.5, the new firmware most likely packs One UI 9.0. It suggests that the company has started testing the new software for the device.
Samsung unveiled One UI 9.0 in May by releasing its beta version for the Galaxy S26 series. It offers more user interface customisation options and new features compared to One UI 8.5 (Android 16 QPR2). The brand is expected to debut its stable version with its next foldable phones later this month. The company may then start rolling it out to older devices.
