The day that a lot of Samsung fans had been waiting for has finally arrived. Samsung has made the One UI 9.0 beta available, and it brings some interesting new improvements.

Our friends over at SamMobile TV have put together a detailed video with the official One UI 9.0 changelog to walk you through what the upcoming firmware update brings. The beta is only being rolled out for the Galaxy S26 series initially.

One UI 9.0 is based on Android 17 so it brings the improvements that Google has included in it as well. These include additions like a system-level contacts picker, Advanced Protection Mode, and more.

There are some new and improved Galaxy AI features. One UI 8.5 brought new customization options for the Quick Panel which have been further expanded with One UI 9.0.

Samsung DeX makes it easier to move an app window from one desktop to another, while new Settings are now available in Game Booster to further improved your mobile gaming experience.

Do check out the full video below to learn more about everything new that's included in the first One UI 9.0 beta. It's likely that we may see further enhancements coming to light in future beta builds.
