Samsung has finally started rolling out the One UI 8.5 update to the public. Several eligible devices have received it already across the globe, and more to set to receive it in the coming days.
For those who are on One UI 8.0, our friends over at SamMobile TV have put together a great video explaining why the One UI 8.5 upgrade is worth it.
It's been highlighted quite frequently, but it's worth updating to One UI 8.5 just for the many customization options it offers. Quick Panel is much more customizable in the new firmware version than ever before, enabling you to precisely fine-tune it to your preferences.
The general visual improvements that Samsung has made are also worth noting. A lot more care has gone into improving the overall user interface, so it just feels nicer zipping around the various menus and apps on your phone.
Usability enhancements have also been made which make it easier to use your device with just one hand. There are better Galaxy AI features in One UI 8.5, too. Call Assist is a particularly great feature as it uses AI to screen your incoming calls, should you so desire.
