One UI 8.5's missing camera modes are coming back, but not how you think

Good news for anyone who refrained from installing the One UI 8.5 beta on their Galaxy S25, S25+, or S25 Ultra because it was missing the Dual Rec and Single Take camera modes: a Samsung employee has confirmed the two modes are making a return soon.

According to a moderator on Samsung's community forums, Dual Rec and Single Take will return to the Galaxy S25 series with the second beta update. However, it seems they will not be available in the camera app's Modes selector, but as part of the Camera Assistant app.
