One UI 8.5, which will debut with the Galaxy S26 early next year, is turning out to be a huge update. Several One UI 8.5 features have leaked already, and more upcoming features are surfacing each new day. The latest leak reveals how the upcoming version of One UI will make your Galaxy phone a lot smarter for everyday tasks.
Android Authority has managed to find a feature called Now Nudges in leaked One UI 8.5 files. Based on the leaked screenshots, Now Nudges is powered by Galaxy AI, and it seems extremely similar Google's Magic Cue feature that debuted with the Pixel 10 series. After learning your routines, Now Nudges can proactively suggest useful information when you need it.
The Recall Important Info feature of Now Nudges can help you remember something from the past. It can recall your previous chats, screenshots, and other data at relevant places. The Fill Out Forms Easily feature learns from the forms you fill on webpages and then helps you autofill that relevant information the next time you are filling out a form on the internet.
The Get Things Done Quickly feature can suggest actions based on what is on your Galaxy phone's screen. For example, when you receive a message from your friend that contains a location they sent you, Now Nudges will help you jump to that location in Google Maps. It can also nudge you to start text translation when you view something in a language that you are not familiar with.
The Now Nudges will work with instant messaging and social media apps like Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp. The Fill Out Forms Easily feature will initially work with apps and websites like Doordash, Expedia, Market Kurly, and Trip. All these features could be powered by the Gemini Nano AI mdel.
One UI 8.5 could bring even more features, and we will likely know all about them when Samsung opens the One UI 8.5 Beta Program before the end of this year and when the Galaxy S26 launches in February or March of 2026.
