In September, Samsung’s upcoming version of One UI for Galaxy phones and tablets, One UI 8.5, leaked. It brought many user interface upgrades. Since then, the brand has been rolling out updates to its apps running on the new software, offering new UI, including Calculator and Clock. Now, the company has released an update to the Voice Recorder app on One UI 8.5. It offers an all-new look.
Samsung is rolling out an update to the Voice Recorder app running on One UI 8.5. It offers an all-new user interface (via Tarun Vats). The app’s home screen shows each recording as a card instead of showing it in a list in the previous version of the app. It also arranges recordings by year. However, that’s just the tip of the iceberg. The real change comes to the recording and the playback screens.
Earlier, the Voice Recorder app, when recording an audio, used to show a section for the audio waveform in the middle of the screen, with white or black color at the top and bottom. That’s not the case anymore. The app now shows full white or full black with a shade of red, with the audio waveform in the middle. It looks much more polished than before. You can check it out below.
