This one case can make your Galaxy A34 look timeless

Nearly every Samsung phone has an Infinity-O display nowadays. The Infinity-V cutout is barely getting used, and even lower-cost Galaxy A phones, such as the new Galaxy A35, have transitioned from Infinity-U to the superior Infinity-O design.

The Infinity-O screen alone might not be a good-enough reason for Galaxy A34 owners to upgrade to the latest Galaxy A35 model. Nevertheless, it is a fact that Samsung's new mid-range A35 makes your Galaxy A34 look more outdated than it was just a few weeks ago.

And besides the Infinity-O design, Samsung's new Galaxy A35 also outdates your Galaxy A34 through its use of the so-called Key Island. The Key Island is a bump in the flat frame surrounding the side buttons, and it is exclusive to Samsung's newer mid-range phones.

Thankfully, there is a relatively cheap solution to this problem if you want to keep using the Galaxy A34 without showing its age.

The Smart View Wallet Case is timeless

Samsung's Smart View Wallet Case covers almost every part of your phone and looks nearly identical across numerous Galaxy devices. You can probably tell the difference between the Smart View Wallet Case for the Galaxy A34 and A35 side-by-side, but otherwise, you'd have to know where to look to tell them apart.

Here are the Galaxy A34 (left) and Galaxy A35 (right) Smart View Wallet Cases. You might be able to tell that one case has a taller hinge and a slightly different location for the side buttons. Otherwise, they more or less look identical.

This Smart View Wallet Case will hide your Galaxy A34's frame entirely, so there's hardly any way to tell if it has the Key Island or not. And it covers the Infinity-U cutout most of the time. You can even answer phone calls without flipping the cover open.

Since the Smart View Wallet Case costs around $30 on Amazon, it's up to you to decide whether it's worth the price if all you want is to hide some of the Galaxy A34's outdated design characteristics. However, if you were already looking for a case to protect your A34, this might be the best choice if you'd also prefer giving your phone a timeless look.

Should you care about the Galaxy A35’s Infinity-O cutout?

Samsung's new Galaxy A35 is the first in the A3x series to employ an Infinity-O display. It's a welcomed change, but even so, the Galaxy A35 may have joined the party a bit too late and missed out on some cool party tricks. Let's quickly evaluate what the Infinity-O display cutout is today. Arguably, it […]
