For a few years now, Samsung has been offering TVs with Daily Board. When the TV is turned off, and it detects motion in the room or when you summon Amazon Alexa/Bixby, this feature turns on the display and shows useful information, such as notes, the status of SmartThings-supported devices, and the weather.
The TVs that Samsung has launched recently, especially the ones that came out this year, offer a new Daily Board. It provides you with a new design for widgets, as well as more widgets and wallpapers. Well, the South Korean tech giant is now offering the new Daily Board to older Samsung TVs, such as the S90C OLED.
Earlier today, on our Samsung S90C OLED TV, when we summoned Bixby, it presented us with an all-new Daily Board as opposed to the one we have been seeing for over a year now.
It offers widgets with a glass-like design, a more organised layout for the Widgets, Wallpapers, and Settings tabs, as well as new widgets and wallpapers. You can check them out below.
The new Daily Board popped up without any updates to the OS. Maybe the brand pushed the changes as a background update to the service offering this feature.
We can confirm that the new Daily Board is live on the S90C OLED TV in India. The South Korean tech giant may be rolling it out in other regions and to other models as we speak.
