Fortunately, you don't have to buy the latest Galaxy Z Flip 4 to enjoy these new wallpapers. They're now available to download by anyone who might want to get a taste of the Z Flip 4 experience on another Android device.
Official Galaxy Z Flip 4 wallpapers are available for the primary 6.7-inch foldable display and the small 1.9-inch cover screen. If you don't have at least the Galaxy Z Flip 3, you might not find the cover screen wallpapers very useful. Nevertheless, they are all included in one downloadable zip file below (via XDA-Developers), along with live wallpapers in MP4 file format.
Without getting too technical, the Galaxy Z Flip 4's foldable display is AMOLED, which means it doesn't have a backlight. Each pixel is its own light source, and AMOLED panels achieve pure black by temporarily shutting off individual pixels.
All this means that darker wallpapers can have a positive effect on battery life, especially on Samsung devices equipped with AMOLED screens. And as you can see in the image gallery below, it's no coincidence that each official Galaxy Z Flip 4 wallpaper is based on a dark background with a splash of color to break the monotony.
The static wallpapers have a resolution of 2640 x 2640, and the cover display wallpapers have a pixel count of 512 x 260. You can preview the Galaxy Z Flip 4 (compressed) wallpapers in the image gallery below, and you can find the full-resolution images in a zip archive at AndroidFileHost.
