Not to be left behind, the Galaxy A32 is now getting the August security update

The August 2021 security patch is now rolling out for another Galaxy-A branded phone, namely the Galaxy A32. Similar to the Galaxy A72, the A32 is getting the latest security patch in Russia, but other markets should join the party soon.

For the time being, Galaxy A32 owners in Russia can acquire the August 2021 security patch by downloading and installing the latest update identified by firmware number A325FXXU1AUH1. The firmware number indicates that the August 2021 security patch should be accompanied by extra features, but details are missing.

The August 2021 security patch alone fixes 38 vulnerabilities that affect Android OS, and a couple of additional issues found within Samsung's own software.

Galaxy A32 users in Russia should receive an update notification at any moment. They can tap that notification to download the latest update, or, if the notification doesn't show up, they can attempt to trigger it from the Settings app on the phone by navigating to Software update and tapping Download and install.

If you want to skip waiting for the update to arrive, you can download it from our firmware database and install it on your phone manually using a PC. Just make sure you grab the right update for your particular phone and model number.
