Samsung has released a new update to the Samsung Internet app. While this isn't a major update, it brings multiple bug fixes to make your web browsing experience better and safer. This update is now available via the Galaxy Store, and you can update the Samsung Internet app on your Galaxy smartphone and tablet.

Samsung Internet update brings multiple bug fixes

The latest version (22.0.2.6) of the Samsung Internet Browser brings multiple bug fixes, including the one that caused issues when making online payments on certain websites. It also fixes a bug that caused overlapping of text in the dark mode on certain websites. The new update also fixes a bug that caused a delay when entering the Bookmarks menu.

This new Samsung Internet update was released last week, and it has a download size of around 115.5MB. The South Korean firm releases a major new update once every few months, and a major update could be released before the end of this year. In fact, the next major update for Samsung Internet could arrive as a part of the Android 14-based One UI 6.0 update.

The South Korean firm is expected to release the One UI 6.0 Beta update within the next few days. The update will arrive first on the Galaxy S23 series and then on some older high-end phones, including the Galaxy S22 series. Once the update is released, we can know what's new for the next major version of Samsung Internet.
