One UI 9 on the Galaxy S26 Ultra
There has been a steady stream of One UI 9 beta releases for the Galaxy S26 series over the past couple of months.
The stable release shouldn't be that far off now, but it appears that Samsung may have another beta version planned for the lineup.
Samsung released the fifth One UI 9.0 beta update for the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, and the Galaxy S26 Ultra earlier this week. It focused primarily on bug fixes, bringing improvements for six issues that were identified following the earlier release.
As @tarunvats33 notes, S948BXXU4ZZHB may be the sixth One UI 9.0 beta build for the Galaxy S26 series. It lines up with earlier expectations of one final beta firmware release ahead of the stable version being rolled out.
That shouldn't be too far in the distance now, considering that Samsung has already released its first devices running the stable version. The new Galaxy Z Fold 8, Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, and the Galaxy Z Flip 8 devices all come with One UI 9.0 out of the box.
Those who have an eligible Galaxy S26 device participating in the One UI 9.0 beta program will be able to check for and download the update once it becomes available through the Settings menu.
First Samsung device: SGH-E900
