Samsung has released a new update for the Sound Assistant app for Galaxy smartphones, which is a module for the brand's Good Lock for its phones.
The update carries version 9.0.00.11 and brings three changes (via Kailash). The first and most important one is support for “One UI 9.0 and above”
It means that Sound Assistant should now work seamlessly on the Galaxy S26 series, Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, Galaxy Z Fold 8, Galaxy Z Flip 8, and older Samsung smartphones when they get the One UI 9.0 (Android 17) update.
As for the other two changes, you get “UI improvements” and “Translation error fixes.” At the moment, Samsung seems to be rolling it out only to devices running One UI 9.0. You can get it by going to Galaxy Store > Menu > Updates.
