After the Galaxy A54 and the Galaxy M54, Samsung has released the One UI 9.0 (Android 17) update for the Galaxy F54. It brings several improvements and a few new features, which we will discuss in a moment.

Currently, the brand is rolling out the update in India. It is 2,690.95MB in size and carries firmware version E546BXXUFGZJ4 (via Kailash). You can get it by going to Settings > Software update > Check for updates.

The update also packs the October 2026 security patch, which fixes 62 security issues, making the phone more secure than before. Considering that Samsung launched the Galaxy F54 with One UI 5.0 (Android 13) and is expected to offer four major OS upgrades to the phone, this might be the last major update for the phone.

One UI 9.0 provides you with more Quick Panel customization options, a location privacy indicator, and a Warranty and care menu in Settings. It also brings improvements to Samsung DeX, Samsung Notes, and accessibility features. You can watch the major changes and upgrades it offers in action in our video below.
