A few weeks ago, Samsung revealed that it renamed the Bixby Routines app ‘Modes And Routines.' The new and updated app arrived on Galaxy smartphones and tablets with the Android 13-based One UI 5.0 update. The South Korean firm has now released a new app update.

The latest update to the Modes And Routines app comes with version 4.0.00.73, and it brings various bug fixes for more reliable performance. The app also brings better integration with the Sleep Mode on the phone and the connected smartwatch. So, certain routines that include conditions related to the Sleep mode should work better.

The new version of the Modes And Routines app is now available through the Galaxy Store on phones and tablets running Android 13-based One UI 5.0. The update was released today, and it has a download size of 31.63MB. The app will soon be available on Samsung's Galaxy watches running Wear OS.

Turn off Always On Display automatically at night on your Galaxy phone

Samsung has pioneered Always On Display technology for mobile phones. Other brands have borrowed AOD in recent years, but Samsung arguably does it best, especially with the release of the Galaxy S24 series, which boasts an upgraded AOD. The Always On Display is a useful tool that allows Galaxy phone users to get information about […]

Don’t let the Galaxy Watch health sensor wake you up at night

Samsung's ‘Modes and Routines‘ feature lets Galaxy device users automate tasks (Routines) and create system-wide settings presets (Modes). The feature is very clever but often feels optional, and because it works in the background more often than not, it's easy to forget it exists. However, there is at least one Mode in Modes and Routines […]

One UI Watch 5 new Theater Mode works like a charm, here’s how to set it up

With the recent release of the One UI Watch 5 update for Wear OS Galaxy smartwatches, Samsung revamped Theater Mode. The latter was a smartwatch-specific feature users could activate from the quick toggle area on One UI Watch. But One UI Watch 5 came along, and Samsung made some (positive) changes to the way it […]

One UI 5.0 removed an Android feature nobody seems to care about

One UI is, by far, our favorite overlay for Android OS. It's one of the many reasons why we are Samsung fans, and the latest version — One UI 5.0 — reminded us again why we prefer Samsung's proprietary Android skin over any other. And that includes Google's pure Android OS experience. Samsung's One UI […]
