Samsung says it will start selling the Galaxy A04 in Vietnam today, October 17. As of this moment, the phone is listed on the company's online store without an active buy button. However, this should change by the end of the day.
The Galaxy A04 is hitting the market in three color options: Pink Bronze, Fern Blue, and Nebula Black. The white color option is missing. The device is available with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage or 4GB of RAM and 64GB ROM. The entry-level variant has a price of VND 2,990,000 ($122), while the 4GB variant costs VND 3,490,000 ($143). The 0% interest installment plan offer is available until November 31.
It's worth keeping in mind that you won't get 32GB / 64GB of free storage if you purchase the 32GB or 64GB model. The operating system and built-in apps occupy roughly 14GB of space.
Samsung Vietnam says the Galaxy A04 can “perfectly handle all daily tasks, from study and entertainment to work.” The low-cost phone features an octa-core Helio P35 chipset from MediaTek and is powered by a 5,000mAh battery.
Other specs include a 6.5-inch HD+ PLS LCD with an Infinity-V cut for the 5.0MP selfie camera. The back of the device carries a high-resolution 50MP wide camera and a 2MP depth sensor. Other standard features you can expect from the Galaxy A04 include a 3.5mm headphone port, USB-C, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, and Bluetooth 5.0.
