More specifically, Samsung released one Jet Bot Combo model — the one that doesn't have “AI” in its name — in Brazil this week. The Jet Bot Combo that has been released in Brazil costs R$13,084, which translates to around $2,392.
If that sounds like a lot of money, keep in mind that the Jet Bot Combo costs a lot less in most other markets. However, Brazil has a high tax on consumer electronics. This high tax may have also been why Samsung released only the cheaper non-AI Jet Bot Combo in Brazil instead of introducing both models.
Whether it has or doesn't have AI, the Jet Bot Combo is a smart device that can automate many things and navigate around your house using LIDAR to map its environment and avoid objects.
We talked at length about the differences between the AI and non-AI models before, but in short, the non-AI version lacks, well, AI and an advanced 3D camera system.
So, you're missing out on features like AI-based Object Recognition, Floor and Stain Detection, and the automatic No-Go Zone functionality. The Jet Bot Combo without AI can't detect object and room types, doesn't adjust its settings as cleverly as the AI version when cleaning floors based on stains and floor types, and can't create no-Go Zones in the SmartThings app for you (but you can create them manually).

Furthermore, the non-AI model doesn't have Pet Service functionality in SmartThings, so you can't monitor your pets or play music remotely from your phone.
Nevertheless, the Jet Bot Combo that is now available in Brazil offers clever features like Auto Wash, AutoDry, Auto Steam, and precise LiDAR 3D mapping and object avoidance. It can also automatically refill its water tanks and empty its dustbin at the Clean Station.
Finally, many of these functionalities can be controlled via connected mobile device(s), which is what makes the Jet Bot so interesting for Galaxy phone and tablet users.
