Is Galaxy S26 really coming in iPhone 17-like orange color?

Samsung is expected to launch the brand’s next lineup of non-foldable flagship smartphones, the Galaxy S26 series, in February 2026. So far, there have been plenty of leaks about the three devices in the lineup, the Galaxy S26 Pro, Galaxy S26 Edge, and Galaxy S26 Ultra, including the ones that revealed renders of these phones, shedding light on their design. 

Now, an alleged image of the dummy units of the Galaxy S26 Ultra has popped up online. It shows that Samsung will launch the phone in an orange color, which looks almost identical to the Cosmic Orange color of Apple’s iPhone 17 Pro series. With that, people are insulting Samsung for blatantly copying Apple, but is the image real? We don’t think so.

If you take a closer look at the bottom-right corner of the section of the image showing the Galaxy S26 Ultra in the silver color, you will notice that there is a mark. It looks like the watermark that Gemini would put on images that it generates. It is possible that someone generated the image using AI and cropped it to hide the watermark (first spotted by 9To5Google).

In addition to that, there’s no solid information on the source of this image. If it came from a credible source, we would have believed it. That’s the second clue that this image is fake. That being said, Samsung has blatantly copied Apple in the past. Take the Galaxy Watch Ultra, for example. Considering that, we can’t rule anything out, at least yet.
