There's been a lot of talk lately about Samsung possibly wanting to expand its foldable phone lineup with an additional model. Some rumors say Samsung intends to release a 2nd Galaxy Z Fold 6 model that will be cheaper than the standard version. Other rumors suggest the company is working on a more expensive and premium Galaxy Z Fold 6 Ultra variant.
There's no concrete evidence either way, but as of this writing, the discussion seems to lean toward the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Ultra. This could change by the time the next Unpacked event goes live, but whatever Samsung's planning, we've decided to ask and answer why a cheaper Galaxy Z Fold 6 would make sense.

Should Samsung compromise the displays or cameras? Probably not, but some things would have to be downgraded.
Samsung should unveil the Z Fold 6 at the next Unpacked event. We exclusively confirmed that the company will host Unpacked in early July.
The tech giant is also expected to announce the Galaxy Z Flip 6 at the same event, and Samsung should also formally launch a brand-new wearable, i.e., the Galaxy Ring, at Unpacked.
