Samsung has opened Galaxy Z Fold 8 pre-orders in the USA. The new foldable starts at $1,899, and whether you trade in an old device or not, there are a few ways to lower the effective cost.
If you don't have a device to trade in, Samsung will give you a $200 Samsung Credit with your Galaxy Z Fold 8 pre-order. You can use the credit toward accessories or other eligible products from Samsung's online store.
Those who do have an eligible trade-in can save considerably more. Samsung is offering up to $1,200 in instant trade-in credit, with the highest values reserved for some of its newest premium devices.
Here are some of the top trade-in values:
As always, the final trade-in value depends on your device's condition and whether it meets Samsung's eligibility requirements.
The savings don't stop with the phone itself. Galaxy Z Fold 8 buyers can also bundle the device with accessories and wearables, including the Galaxy Buds 4, Galaxy Buds 4 Pro, and the new Galaxy Watch 9, at discounted prices.
Finally, Samsung is offering Galaxy Z Fold 8 buyers a 5% cash reward when paying with a Samsung Galaxy Card, giving eligible customers another way to get extra value from their purchase.
