Horizon Forbidden West, the sequel to Horizon Zero Dawn, is available exclusively on PlayStation, but that’s going to change very soon. Sony has announced that it will release Horizon Forbidden West on PC on 21 March 2024. The company will be releasing the Complete Edition of the game on PC, which includes the Burning Shores expansion which it released for the PlayStation 5 last year. Sony has also started taking pre-orders for the game. It is available to pre-order on Epic Games and Steam for USD 59.99.

Sony hasn’t said if it will release the game only on Windows or MacOS as well. Considering that the company had released Horizon Zero Dawn only on Windows, it is safe to assume that Horizon Forbidden West isn’t coming to MacOS.

To take full advantage of the PC hardware, Horizon Forbidden West for PC will support unlocked frame rates, customizable graphics settings, upscaling and frame generation technologies including AMD FSR, Intel XeSS, and Nvidia DLSS 3, AI-based anti-aliasing technologies including Nvidia DLAA, Microsoft DirectStorage that loads the game directly from SSD, 21:9, 32:9, and 48:9 monitors, and triple-monitor setup. If you pre-order the game, you'll get Blacktide Dye Outfit and Blacktide Sharpshot Bow.
