Gemini Live’s video functionality is very helpful, allowing you to share what you are seeing with the AI assistant in real time, and ask it questions about the topic. However, it looks like some people were experiencing blurry video on Android, and fortunately, Google seems to have fixed it.
Google has announced that it is rolling out updates that improves camera resolution in Gemini Live for Android. If you were among the ones experiencing lower quality video, these updates should fix the problem. For people still facing the issue, the brand has asked them to send a detailed feedback.
However, Google has not revealed if it is offering this upgrade as an update to the app or as a server-side change. The company has also not announced in which regions it has rolled out the updates. Hopefully, we will get those details soon.
9To5Google reports that with the latest update, left swipe on the home screen no longer brings up Gemini Live. So, the only way to bring it up from the home screen is to tap the Live button. The publication also reports that the Gemini Live waveform no longer shows hues of purple. It is now more vibrant blue that looks brighter.
