When you access Circle to Search (CtS) on your Android phone, it pops up with a shimmering light all over the screen. Well, Google seems to have started rolling out a new animation to greet users to the tool. Let’s take a look.
According to Android Authority, a user has noticed that now when they summon Circle to Search, it pops with a new animation with colorful bubbles bouncing around the screen. You can check out the new look in the video below.
The user was using the Google app version 16.5.33.ve.arm64, which seems to be the latest stable version of the app available at the moment.
However, people who have the same version of the app, including folks at the publication, aren’t able to see the new animation just yet.
So, it looks like Google has rolled out the new welcome animation for Circle to Search to only a few users to test it with a server-side change.
The story continues after the video…
If everything goes right, the company might roll it out more widely. However, Google could also completely withdraw the new animation without any reason, as it has withdrawn many features before rolling it out to the public.
If and when Google rolls it out to the public, you can make sure that you get it on your Galaxy phone by updating the Google app and your device's firmware to the latest version. For the latter, you can head to our firmware section.
